James Whitelaw left Glasgow in 1923 for Toronto
He had an associate in Torono H M Griffin
Catherine and James married in Vancouver in October 1924
Catherines sister Minnie (my Grandmother) emigrated Glasgow to Australia in 1923
I have some anecdotal evidence of them meeting in Cornwall in 1952 but all family descendants have lost any records
