Classification: Query
Surnames: CAMPBELL, McILLHUAISH, MacILLHUAISH, McILLEHUAISH
The subject line of your post happened to catch my eye. I do not live in BC, Canada however I am a direct descendant of a Campbell/McIllhuaish line. They were from Killin, Perthshire, Scotland. They interchangeably used both surnames, even within one family (according to christening records). My direct line originally immigrated to Perth, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
Any connections? McIllhuaish, MacIllhuaish is rare to find.
