I am trying to find information about a brother of my Grandfather. Nils Lindbo was born in Sigdal Norway and immigrated to the United States aboard the ship Stavangerfjord in June 1920. After a brief visit with my Grandfather at his farm in North Dakota, he was reportedly traveling to British Columbia, where he was going to prospect for gold.
So far I have been able to find very little information about him. I believe he lived in Atlin, British Columbia where he was probably mining. I don't know if he owned any property or was ever married. I have a copy of an article from the Atlin newspaper published in December 1938 that states he and a partner, Ragnor Skolquist, were mining on Rapid Roy Creek near Eva Lake.
In addition to getting copies of any records pertaining to Nils Lindbo, I would like to find a map showing the Eva Lake and Rapid Roy Creek areas of British Columbia.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
