My family knew a Walter Grinder working as a cowboy in the Cariboo. He was a friend of my dad's. I believe that my dad also knew and worked with his brother whose name I remember as Floyd. If you wish more information, I will check with my dad.

Hi Carla,

My name is Mike Kenny. I am trying to put a family tree together for a surprise for a good friend of mine. It sure seems like you could be a big help. I have some info but need a lot more. My friend is Jack Phillips, son of Teena Grinder, daughter of John Grinder and Melanie. Me and Jack have been good friends since the 60's. I know I heard your name from either Jack or Verna or Ricky or Teena. (I don't want to ask them cause this is a surprise) I use Family Tree Maker. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. I sure would like to surprise them.
Thanks, Mike.

Hello,

I am trying to find out any information you may be able to track down an a Buford J Carpenter. He is a great-great uncle who was a miner who went to BC from Colorado, but drowned March 23, 1924. My grandfather vaguely remembers a story about bones being found later, but didn't know if there was ever news about if they were Buford's or if there was a burial. . . any help you may be able to give would be amazing.

Carla, My dad's great grandmother was Maggie Grinder. My grandfather was Joseph Murdock, son of Clara Hartman and Prince Albert Hartman. Josephs wife Beryl was from the McDonald family, Tilly Reynolds was her aunt. I am looking for some info on Phillip Grinder's wife Nancy. It would be great find out her father and mothers names and DOB. Any information would help.

Thanks

HiBernard. My name is Darrel Byron. I am researching the Miller Family. I am looking for any info, newspaper stories, obits etc. The majority of stats were lost in the Church fire at Lillooet. I would appreciate any leads or help. Are there headstones recording any Miller graves? Have you heard of Annie Tlilkwa or Annie Chilcotin? I am looking for info on these ladies. It is not known if they are the same person or not. Looking forward to hearing from you. My home e-mail is: d.byron@shaw.ca Thanks. Darrel.
