Blatchford and had 12 children. one of them was my grandfather,Charles. I cannot find a record of his death except a comment in an obituary in a Kelowna newspaper in 1935 when his wife Elizabeth had died. She had remarried J. Re: Death or burial record for William Thomas SMALL
Hi, Provincial Archive of BC Vital Events Index: Marriage 1859-1934 Birth 1872-1903 Death 1872-1989
All deaths that occur in British Columbia - would be registered in British Columbia. Perhaps your William Thomas SMALL passed away - out of Province? *There may be a news story /obituary - in a Kelowna newspaper for the time frame of the death of Wm Thomas SMALL - perhaps missing? body not found etc? eg. Elizabeth did not re marry till 1918.
Shows a Death of a William SMALL - age 29 in Cranbrook in 1905.

Re: Death or burial record for William Thomas SMALL
Thank you very much for your reply to my query. I appreciate it. What you sent me I already know. These are relatives of mine and they are all in my family tree. In my family research over the last twelve years I have made use of all the tools you mentioned. I am beginning to believe he either died out of province, or if he didn't there is simply no record of his death. Those things happen. Thanks for your help. It ain't over yet. dongi

Re: Death or burial record for William Thomas Small
Wm. Thomas Small is my great grandfather, b. 1834 in Ontario. And it is I who have been trying to find out exactly when and where he died. I have been unable to find a death certificate and the 1904 date is an educated guess based on his wife Elizabeth's obituary published in 1935. I am familiar with genealogy and have done a lot of it over the last 16 years. There is more than one member of this large family with the same name. His father was Wm. T. Small, he also has a son and a grandson. It seemed odd to me that there was no actual record of his death, but I believe it happens. Do you have any leads on this by any chance. Thank you for your posted message.
