Hi, your father born aprox 1936.
There would be a birth registration - which would show names of parents etc.
Do you know your grandparents - living or deceased.?
If Deceased - the Death Registration - will show -personal information.
Obituaries - may show names and locations of other family members.
Marriage Registration for your Parents - will show - names of both sets of parents - including mothers maiden name - place of birth of parents etc - *there may be restrictions re obtaining same from Govt of Alberta -Vital Statistics Registry office - *Long form Registration has all the personal information - *Certificate is extract of basic information taken from registration.
