My grandmother was either born in Ronan Alberta or raised there. Ella Boone, a free-spirited Black woman, had among others a son Richard Peter Boone aka Richard Peter Anderson and a son named Freddy. Ella's mother lived on a Cherokee reservation until she married outside her tribe and could no longer stay.
