Most of the building boom started in 1908. George Thomson hauled gravel for cement for the first grain elevator, called "the Imperial," and Dave Clark built the hotel, A.E. Jones a harware store, Stirling Fraser a barber shop, and Andrew E. (Scotty) Greig a harness shop.

Page 584
A. E. Greig (Scotty). Came from Scotland to Parkland in 1904. A young lady came later from Scotland and they were married. He was a harness maker and in later years operated a garage. Scotty was sportsminded and backed all the games. He was a good football player.

I do not see the name of the wife or childrens names.
