Looking for my grandfather A.W. Miller in the 1911 Census - Tp. 26, Rg. 23 but cannot find him. What census district should he be in?

The Master Surname Index (not online) (mostly burials in Alberta cemeteries) of the Alberta Genealogical Society lists these possible names;

Albert William MILLER, - 20 Dec 1961 buried in the Strathmore cemetery at SW-15-T24-R25-W4.
There apparently is no grave monument for him.

I do have his deathdate and other details, but was looking for him in the 1911 census but could not find him there. If you find him in the census, I would appreciate any information you can give me on it.

Hi, Just a thought -Always a good Idea to post the Surname of Interest - in Capital Letters ont he Subject Line - followed by Given name/s if known Catches attention - ans is much easier to find in the future.

Have you considered searching for family connected names - spouse - etc in the 1911, 1906, 1901 Census?

Searched under other possible spelling for the Surname. Sometimes the enumerator may have made an error. Transcription of the surname may be incorrect - depending on the clarity of the original.

Have you searched: National Archive of Canada - Western Land Grants?
Have you searched Google re Rockyford Alberta - it will show the location.
