Karmann Family

I am trying to locate information on the Karmann Family. My grandmother was Margaret Josephine Karmann and she married Jessie Charles Bell. They left Canada in about 1915 for the U.S. I know there was some family still in the area a few years ago. I would like to know what happened to Margaret's parents. When they died, and where they are buried. I have info from when they came from Germany up until Jessie and Margaret left Canada for the U.S. But nothing after that or before they emigrated.

Thanks
Pat

Hi Pat,

My grandfather was, Frank Karmann, your grandmother's brother. I was raised in Westlock and can confirm that your grandmother's parents are buried in Clyde.

Also, I looked at the information you were sent. Your grandmother's sister, Magdalena, married a "Gurney" not "Curney".

Hope this helps,

Wade

Hi Wade,
We have met a couple of times, when we were kids, and again at a family reunion. Thanks for the name correction. I will fix that. Do you have any pictures of Grandma and Grandpa Karmann? Also, any docs concerning their immigration? I know they came in to New York and where they left from in Germany. I don't know where they came from in Germany, or Grandma's maiden name. Also, do you guy's still have the spinning wheel grandpa made for your grandmother? Just curious. We really don't know much about them and I would love any information you can pass on.

Oh, just so you know the connection, my folks are Ike and Jean Weber, from Kent Washington.

Thanks so much
Pat
