Surnames: McCABE, MORROW
I'm hoping that SKS will have access to obits or cemetery transcripts but, if not, then I certainly need advice on the most likely place of Catholic burials of three adult siblings, all unmarried, who lived and died in Lethbridge, Alberta.
The family had originally lived in Warner, Alberta where the parents had died.
Someone mentioned to me the possibility of a mention of the father in the book "Wagons to Wings", about Warner, Alberta.

The family members that I'm seeking information about are:

Francis Ambrose "Frank" McCABE, b1865 Adjala Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, emigrated 1888 to North Dakota, USA, m 1896 Grand Forks, ND, USA, emigrated 1911 to Warner, Alberta and, his wife, Ellen MORROW, b1865 Adjala Township, Simcoe County, Ontario.

"Frank" and Ellen both reportedly died 1947 in Warner, Alberta. Burial place unknown.

Their 3 children:
Casimir McCABE, b 1897 ND, USA - d unknown date, Lethbridge, Alberta.
Cletus McCABE, b 1899 ND, USA - d unknown date, Lethbridge, Alberta.
Mercedes McCABE, bc 1909 ND, USA - d 1985 Lethbridge, Alberta.
Burial places unknown.

Any help in locating death information and/or burial sites of this family line which came to its end in Alberta is most appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Pat McCabe

I check this site once in a while as Warner is my home town. The McCabe name is a familiar one, and though you have more information than is found in "Wagons to Wings", one point is that it says Frank McCabe died in 1947, his wife in 1948. They are likely buried in the Warner Cemetery. Frank was a well-known carpenter, and built many homes in the area. I'm providing one source you may check into. This site lists several McCabes...including a Francis Casimir. If I locate anything further, I'll be in touch. The site I mentioned has a LONG address:
http://www.ourheritage.net/index_page_stuff/Local_History_Li...
Also if Mercedes McCabe was married, her death will be listed under her married name. The local branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society has records from many cemeteries in the area, as well as City Directories which may be of assistance. Their web site : http://www.connect.ab.ca/~lgensoc

Good luck! Ethel

Our sincere thanks to you Ethel for your kindness.
This is most certainly our Francis Ambrose "Frank" McCabe family. "Frank" was known to be a carpenter.
This is fascinating information and we're most grateful.

Kind Regards,
Pat and Greg McCabe

I believe all these McCabes are buried in Lethbridge, AB. Ellen Morrow McCabe was my father's aunt. Sorry I didn't find out about this board sooner.
