The Internet just gets faster!! There is only one head stone so far which it would be good to have and that is Wilson(known as Wils, Wis or William)Akitt's. He died on 26 april 1949, and is buried in Prospect Valley U.C. cemetery, in Edgerton.(plot 035)which isn't too far from Wainwright,if your family are perhaps passing. His land grant was granted in 1911,I think, the forms are abit fuzzy, and his address wasRibstone ,44,2,4. Battle River 17. What a life those Pioneers had to survive!!I think he was given a pioneer medal as he arrived about 195/6 and worked on the railways first.Thank you again. carolyn.ps.I'm also seeking, fruitlessly, any photos.
