Hi, This is a link to the Lomond history book on-line, but although George John has a bio in there it doesn"t mention his second wifes name. http://www.ourroots.ca/e/toc.aspx?id=8568 The Brotherwood bios start on page 43, but if you do a sur-name search you can click on the page numbers that show up. Remember the book was published in the 1966. Butch

Thank you so much Butch, I cant tell you how excited I am to confirm that George John did remarry and that it fits into the years perfectly. I have tried unsuccessfully to find a marriage certificate for him though in Alberta between 1925 and 1932. My Grandmother was widowed the first time in 1922, and was then shown on a border crossing as widowed again with the name Brotherwood in 1935. She was going to her daughters (Lizzie Good)home in Whitefish to live indefinately, after that I have no record of her buried under Brotherwood or Murray.
You find has been invaluable to me, thanks again
