Not related, but here are the obituaries for Florence and George.

From The Calgary Herald - Oct. 6, 1972

RUBBELKE - October 4, 1972, Florence R. aged 78 years, beloved wife of Mr. George A. Rubbelke, 422 10 Avenue N.E. and beloved mother of Mrs. Louise Miller, 2206A 4 Street S.W., Mrs. Cecil (Agnes) Menzies, Calgary and one son, James Leo, Seattle, Washington. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; five sisters and one brother. She was predeceased by a son, Vincent, in 1952 and one daughter, Margaret in 1970. Prayers at The Garden Chapel (Foster Funeral Home) 540 16 Ave. N.W. on Monday evening at 7 p.m. Burial rite and Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (610 2 Ave N.E.) on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, kindly send donations to the Canadian Cancer Society 235 7 Ave. S. E. Ph 289-1944.

RUBBELKE - July 16, 1973, Mr. George Albert Rubbelke, aged 83 years, of 422 10 Ave. N.E. Born in Cologne, Minnesota, he came to Cavendish, Alberta in 1917 and was employed as a C.P.R. Station Agent in various parts of Alberta until coming to Calgary in 1963. Mr. Rubbelke was a member of the L.O.O.M. No. 1480, and C.P.R Pensioners Association and Inglewood Golf Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence in 1972, one son, Vincent, and a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Needrum. Mr. Rubbelke is survived by one son, James Leo, Seattle, Wash; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Miller, and Mrs. R.C. (Agnes) Menzies, both of Calgary; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; also one sister, Mrs. Kate Katonowski (or Kale Kalonowski??), St. Cloud Minnesota. Burial Rites and Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, 610 2 Ave. N.E. today at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The Garden Chapel (Foster Funeral Home) 540 16 Ave. N.W. Directors. Ph 289-1944.

The sister is Mrs. Clement Kalinowski. I knew them.
Their farm was not so far from ours.
