BACHUR/GORDEY/SKOREYKO families of Willingdon area
I'm looking for descendants of Iftema (Echtima) SKOREYKO.
She married an unknown GORDEY while in Bukovina, Ukraine or Austria. Had children Anastasia (married Dmetro BILLEY), Alexander (married Rose GRECKUL), and Andriy or Andrew.
She then married Ivan BACHUR in Bukovina and had children Maria, Aneca or Anica, Wasylena who died in infancy and then another Wasylena.
Iftema and Ivan came to Canada on same ship as Anastasia and Dmetro Billey with all of their children and settled in the Wellingdon area.
Their descendants include the names: BILLEY, HUNKA, DEMCHUK, PRESIZNIUK, CHERNICHAN, KARBASHEWSKI, MELNYK, DANYLUK, KERYLUK, MYKIWKA, SHAWCHEK, EDINGER, SLUGGETT, AMENDT, MILES, NELSON, WEST, MARKHAM, GABLE, HARNACK, MYATT, SCARBOROUGH, ROSLER and DORE. I'm sure there are many others names of branches I've yet to discover.
Looking for any information on the family and would love to share information with anyone who may be related.

Re: BACHUR/GORDEY/SKOREYKO families of Willingdon area
My Skoreyko link is from Iftema (Echtima) Skoreyko - who was a widow of a Gordey. They had 3 children, Anastasia (my g-g-grandmother), Alexander and Andrew Gordey. Iftema remarried Ivan Bachur. They had 3 living daughters and brought them to Canada in 1899 with her other children and Anastasia's husband and new son. I had this branch of the family tree all from the same village as you mentioned.
I'm really interested in any information of the Skoreyko family.

My grandfather Basilio Hunchak is from Boranti Bucovina born in 1899. Arrived to Argentina in 1935-1936 via Alberta Canada. I think his 1st wifes name or mother was Domka Hunchak. I beleive he left 2 sisters in Canada. I posted the 2 pictures I have from him in his myspace page, PLease review and see if Maria Hunchak is one of the ladies in his photo www.myspace.com/hunchak
