Hi Murray,
Have you searched the Online White Pages Directory MyTelus.com
http://www.mytelus.com
for MITCHELL - in the Elk Point Area etc.

Did your information re the names of the children, come from an Obituary? If not - The Obituary may show the names and locations of the family members, married surnames of the daughters etc.

Cheers ,Stella

Thanks for your reply, Yes, most of the info came from the obit. Is there anyone out there that is related. In the Obit. it says that he died at Elk Point, Alberta.
Would like to know what cemetery is he buried in and also if his wife, Edith is still alive or has she passed away.
Checked that mytelus.com sight but found nothing.

Also what day did your Mother, Edith pass away.
In the obit says that Ida is of Wingham, which I'am close to, do you have her married name and I can look her up and stop in for a visit

Hi. I am Dorothy's brother. We had a sister Betty (Margret Elizabeth) who died in her early 20's. She was buried in one of the plots they had purchased for themselves. Their request was to be buried in the plot next to her. They also wanted their names inscribed on the reverse of her stone. Betty was married to Ray Miller. That should help.
Ida lives in Bluevale. If you want to get hold of her let me know and I will email her your email address if you get it to me. not sure how you do this on ancestry.ca. Bert Mitchell also has the mitchell family tree all mapped out but I believe it may be on ancestry.com
