Hi Stella
Thank you so much for the information you sent me.
All I know about Richard(born 1870) and Rebecca(born 1878) Airey is that they sailed from Liverpool on a ship called the Parisian and arrived in Montreal, Quebec in 1903. They had a son, John, born in 1900.

Hi Peter
Thank you so much for the information you sent me about the Airey family.
It certainly sounds as if the Richard and Rebecca J. Airey are some of my relatives and Joseph Birkett Airey links well as Rebecca's maiden name was Birket.
They left Liverpool and sailed on the Parisian, arriving in Montreal, Quebec in 1903. Their son, John was born in 1900 so that also ties in.
Thank you again.
Hazel

Thank you for message. Is your grandfather John Airey born in Westmorland in 1901 and died in Canada on 12 Dec 1917?
If so please could you tell me where he lived and died, what work he did and anything about his siblings and his wife and children? Thank you very much indeed.

John was born in 1900 in Great Britian and passed in 1977 not 1917. Lived in Bowden, AB most of his life and retired in Stettler, AB. He was a welder and owned and operated tractors with which he broke land for farming in the Bowden area. He had 3 sons with his first wife. Second wife Rosalie. Is this the John Airey you are looking for?
