Austin Grimes, machinist, signed up for WW I giving his b.d. as 13 Nov 1876 in NYC. and Mrs. Orpha Grimes (sister) of Newburg, N. D as next of kin. He signed up 15 Dec 1915 in Calgary, Alberta.

Owen and Austin Grimes came from Langman, Saskatchewan. They purchased the S 1/2 15-6-0-13 and farmed for a few years before they sold their land to Remy Bourtin. They had a pool hall and a Dodge car agency in Ponteix. They returned to Lampman.
