Thomas Archibald Ross was the son of Murdoch K Ross and grandson of Murdoch Ross (both born Scotland, emigrated to Margaree Valley, Cape Breton about 1828).
According to the information I have received, Thomas, widowed after the death of Sadie Bell Carmichael, married Elsie Gray Cook of Newfoundland about 1912. They relocated to Alberta, Canada. Their children were born in Bow Island, Innisfail and Red Deer.
Their children, born from 1912 to 1924, were Evelyn, Gordon Melvin, Irvyn, Donald John, Thomas, Mary L, Harry Archibald and Eugene Patrick.
At least one, Harry Archibald, emigrated to the US. Harry married Joyce Mae Berghaus. They went to Iowa bet. 1951 and 1956. Their first two children, Keith Preston and Barry Darrell had been born in Alberta, 1949 and 1951 respectively.
The rest, Brian Eugene, Cheryl Lee, Curtis Lyle, Elaine Denise and Diane Joyce were born in Waterloo, BlackHawk County, Iowa bet 1956 and 1961.
