I am trying to find descendants of William Robert Leedham and Mary Alice Mcniff. They moved to Pincher Creek from Norfolk County, Ontario. William was the son of Elizabeth Jane Murtland and her first husband William Thomas Leedham. I need information about William Robert's grandparents, Thomas Lorne Leedham and Catharine or Ann?? I need her maiden name and info about what part of England they came from. Does anyone know some history of this family?

Hi Georgena.
I am just trying to start my MURTLAND family . By any chance do you have a William Murtland who resided in Grey County, then moved to Port Dover Ontario??? My Great Great Great grandmother I believe was his sister, in 1851 she was living with William and Melissa in Egremont, Grey, Ontario. My GGGreat Grandmothers name was Catherine Elizabeth Murtland-Sperling, on her death cert. it says her parents were Robert and Betsey Murtland. .I also believe her sisters name was Julia Ann. Any info would be helpful!
