I did not know where Grand Isle was either.. Found it at site below.. I love to get maps with counties because it is so much easier to Sluth that missing family or person when you know Where they lived..
MY line Cherbino/Noel were in Addison Co. that is two counties south of Grand Isle .. which is right on the border .. of Canada .. probably where Most of our Can/French lines went first .. I now that there were a lot of Charbonneaus in Chittenden , the county between ours.
