Stella & Shannon - thank you so much for your help. That must be it. The paper I am looking at here is from 1915. I've found the cemetery transcription, now just need to figure out if there were obits out there! I have a place to start. V

Vanessa,

The Master Surname Index (not online) (mostly burials in Alberta cemeteries) of the Alberta Genealogical Society lists these names;
all burials in the Didsbury cemetery.

Elizabeth MOYLE, 3 Sep 1874 - 8 Oct 1914
Fred T. MOYLE, 24 Aug 1866 - 17 Nov 1958
Elsie MOYLE, 4 Dec 1906 - 20 Jun 1911
Margaret MOYLE, 8 Jul 1808 - 18 Nov 1908 or 1909?
There is a note with Elsie & Margaret, "born at Didsbury buried in Paris Ont cemetery".

All (or most) newspapers published in Alberta are archived at the Alberta Legislature Library in Edmonton. Members of the AGS Research Services Committee have access to these.

They have an index and can tell you which area papers have articles about Didsbury for certain years
You can email them, E-mail: library@assembly.ab.ca

Vanessa,

Also you can find Homesteads for Henry Moyle and Frederick Thomas Moyle on the AGS Website, http://abgensoc.ca/

Those Homesteads would be about 10 to 15 miles east of Didsbury.

Hi Vanessa,
Just a thought - I may have missed - the surnames that you are searching for.
It is always important to enter the Surnames of Interest on the Subject line - of the message - could save a number of steps - and time. People respond to surnames. there may be persons at the message board - or the Mail List - who are researching the same family line - or -may have come across the names during their own research.
There may be information - in the Local Family History Books.
Perhaps some family members enlisted
http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/020106_e.html
Perhaps are shown in the 1901 ,1906, 1911 Census.
http://automatedgenealogy.com/index.html

A Public Library -in the area - or in a Larger town - may still have the newspapers - on microfilm in their collection.
The Provincial Archive in Edmonton ????may hold newspapers on microfilm.
Also I believe the Legislative Library ??? in Edmonton

Cheers, Stella
