History Books for Innisfree, Ranfurly and Vegreville

I come from this area and have collected a number of family history books from the towns mentioned above.
I do not mind doing a look-up on a name in any of these villages, however, before you request a look-up, please try to provide as much information as possible, such as given and last name, and village of residence.
Also, I will only do lookups as time permits - that means it may take two to three weeks before I can respond to your request for information, so please be patient.
Also, please remember that there are many towns in this county - Innisfree, Minburn, Ranfurly, Lavoy, Vegreville, just to name a few. Also, in doing research, remember that Innisfree did not become a town until 1911, before that it was known as Delnorte.
Happy Hunting.

I would like to inquire about Rosario LaFleur and his wife Alexina Dubuc and their son, Joseph Ronald Rosario.
I also would like to inquire about Nickolas Drozdowich and his wife Lena Sklepowich. They all supposedly lived in Vegreville in the late 1800's to the mid 1900's. Joseph LaFleur married Beatrice Drozdowich in 1935 in Vegreville. These are my daughter-in-laws grandparents and great grandparents. Her son, my grandson is doing a class project on his "Family Tree".

Hi Iris
I am in no hurry, and I would very much appreciate any information you have on the Botsford or Bryden families.
My Grandmother was Grace Helena Bryden and my Grandfather was Harold Gammell Botsford. Grace was a teacher in the area but I have not been able to find much about which towns she actually taught in. Harold, I understand, was a Grain Buyer in the 20's, or 30's, possibly 40's.
I am told my Grandfather had a homestead near Vegreville (probably to theNorth) but I haven't been able to find any records of that yet.
Thank you for whatever you may find....and thank you for even trying!
Have a great new year!
Barry Botsford

Hi Peter,
Thank you for your reply! I will check out the many links that you gave to me. I was a member of AGS for a year - but since I live out here in Burnaby I didn't find it much help. Or perhaps I just didn't know how to utilize the AGS. You may know my good friend/ old high school buddy Rob Milson who is very active in the AGS.
I am enjoying this holiday - buried in my genealogy!
Thanks for your help.
Have a great New Year.
Sincerely,
Barry Botsford

I am looking for information for a Ukrainian Catholic Church that people in Innisfree would attend. Specifically I am interested in finding baptisms of children born into the Juchym [spelling varies] family of Innisfree between 1904 and 1925, as well as the second marriage of Mr. Juchym ... who seems to go by John, Elias, Teko, among other first names. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Surnames: Forman, Foreman, Hepburn, Landers, Graham, Ireland
I was hopeing that perhaps in the history book, in your posession, for Vegreville, you may have come across, Stephen Ernest(as he went by sometimes) Forman..(may have been sp. Foreman as well) he was born, Nov.25,1876, and sometime after,1907, moved with his wife, Caroline Landers, too Alberta,Canada, and according to obituaries,of other family members, they lvd in Vegreville, Alberta C1913 & 1916 & 1933 . I know of three, Forman children, which they had. 1) Eva Jaclene Forman born, April 14,1900, in Ingersoll,Oxford Co.Ont.Can. who speculatively may have married, an Unknown Bowman, and might possibly have married, abt.1923, Vermillion river,Kirtscoty,Alb.Can.she might have been a school teacher in Alberta,Canada. 2) Margaret FORMAN,b. april 16,1902, Oxford Co.Ont.Can. 3) Stephen Ernest Forman JUNIOR b. June 11,1907, Oxford Co.Ont.Can. Stephen FORMAN,Sr.wife, Caroline nee LANDERS.. had a presently Unknown sister, maiden name Landers, who also, was married, to an A.C. HEPHBURN, who was living along with Stephen & Caroline nee Landers/FORMAN and both married, Landers sisters, were to have lived in Vegreville,Alberta, Can. in 1913. I don,t know the name of Caroline nee Landers/Forman,s sister...but her husband might have been an Andy HEPBURN who may have eventually settled on a homestead near Elk Point, Alberta Canada. The two, Landers sisters, had a brother, Arthur or Art Landers, and he also lvd, near or in Vegreville, Alberta. The Landers, were the children of Robert LANDERS and Mary Jane nee GRAHAM,originally both from Ireland. Its unknown if they moved too Vegreville, but three of their LANDERS children, did. Perhaps the whole Landers family did, I,m not sure. Robert Landers and Mary Jane nee Graham, had, arthur, or Art Landers, that may have lvd, near Elk Point Alberta, and owned horses, and different properties, other siblings too Art, were, Robert Junior Landers, Joseph Landers, a sister that mar. A.C. (poss. Andy) Hepburn, another two unknown sister,s, Maggie Landers, who mar. William Hugh Ireland, and another sister, Caroline Landers, born March 17,1876,who married, June 28 ,1899,Dorchestor,Oxford Co.Ont.Can. Stephen Ernest Forman, and its known that they did move to Vegreville. I am presently tracing the FORMAN families, and their branches. Stephen or Ernest FORMAN b. Nov.25,1876, was the son of John James FORMAN and Phebe Elizabeth VAN Natter, and John James FORMAN was the son of Joseph FORMAN and Elizabeth Durham..and Joseph was the BROTHER to my second Grt. grandfather, John Forman and Margaret nee LONG. I,m traceing, all desc. of the Forman,s and trying to locate their living descendents. These would include, the individuals, which I mentioned lvd, in Vegreville. I am not familiar with any more identifying information, for them in Alberta, other than knowing that they lived there, from their names being mentioned, in Caroline nee Landers/Forman,s, SISTERS obituary.,which mentions Maggie nee Landers/Irelands, surviving sisters, living in Vegreville,Alberta Canada. I would appreciate any info on these individuals if you find them in your reference book of the history of Vegreville. Thankyou in advance, Nancy at rich_lgo@hotmail.com
