Hi, In case your family name does not appear in the book where lookups have been offered.

Have you considered posting an individual message to the Message Board? Surname on the Subject Line in Capital letters.
Mention the time frame of interest - any other information Names of Parents etc - anything that would help others help you.

Is SHERBA your mothers Maiden Name? Perhaps something was posted under a married name - that would make reference to the history of the SHERBA family.

Sherba Name MeaningAmericanized form of Polish Szczerba

I searched the Alberta GenWeb Local History Book site - for the SHERBA surname - with 0 results.
Not all families submitted family history/stories -to the local history book project.

There is the following:
SCHERBA, William & Olga; So Soon Forgotten; Bonnyville
VOLUNTEER: Shirley, smsmith1@telusplanet.net
There is a Volunteer: Shirley who owns or has access to the book.
Cheers, Stella
