Thanks, I did get in touch with your mother and bought a couple of copies of the book, including one for my mother.

My Great Grandfather was James Ronald (Ronnie) McKay, a brother of your mom's grandmother Minnie.

In her book on page 75, she says of my Great Grandfather "He was married twice. I don't know who his first wife was..."

His first wife was my Great Grandmother Hattie Nipper McKay. They married and had several children during a time he lived in Montana. They separated and he moved back to Canada and married again.
