To see where the neighboring communities of Acme, Bircham (note correct spelling) and Grainger are, go to http://geonames.nrcan.gc.ca/search/search_e.phpttp://geoname... and type in any of these names and click on Submit Query. Then click on Map at the right side of the screen. The resulting map will show Beiseker and Carbon and the railway that ran between them. Starting at Beiseker, Bircham was about 1/3 of the way along that line and Grainger was about1/2 way along that line. Acme is still alive, but Bircham and Grainger are virtually gone.
