A Stanley Machell bought my ggrandmother burial plot in Sept 1926. Ggrandmother was Gertrude Deschene (redland). She is buried in Rosebud. I have traced both Stanley & Gertrude to Sherbrooke,qc. They were brother and sister. My problem is that Stanley is the only person that I cannot find a death date, or death place for. All of the family names are Machell,Mcvety,Deschene and Sullivan.

The Master Surname Index (not online) (mostly burials in Alberta cemeteries) of the Alberta Genealogical Society lists these possible names;

Stanley MACHELL, 1901 - 7 Aug 1971
Norma MACHELL. 1912 - 26 Sep 1984
buried next to each other in the Thee Hills cemetery.

Gertrude DESCHENE, - interred 15 Sep 1926 age 27
buried in the Rosebud cemetery.

There is a Eugene DESCHENE mentioned in the history book "The Rosebud Trail"
