Eau Clair Campground was just a picnic area in the 1960's and early 1970's. My grandparents ashes were placed we think at Eau Clair

That area was all gravel roads and forestry campsties in the 60's and 70's. By the end of the 70's they had started to pave it. They were all forestry capsties with only picnic tables and some outhouses back then. My father-in-law worked down there at that time, and my husband remembers the area well. They just referred to it as the Barrier area at that time, as 'Eau Clair' didn't exist.
