I'm looking for information on the family names listed above.
What I have gathered so far is as follows:
Thomas Gallehoe/Callihoo married Marie Findly.
Their daughter, Melanie, born Dec 1872 married Baptiste Bisson on 1 Jan 1889 in Lac Ste. Anne, AB
Melanie and Baptiste had at least 2 children. One of them, Marie, married B. L'Hirondelle. Marie died very young (about 1917) leaving a daughter, Marie Florence, born 1916 in Grande Prairie to be raised by her grandparents. She was educated at Beaverbrook and Cariboo schools.
Marie "Florence", married Joseph Cowpar.
Joseph was the son of Charlie Cowpar and Julia Callihoo.
I've just begun working on a family history and would like to fill in some of the blanks. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have seen some references to these families in various local histories and etc. but really have very little information to go on.
Apparently, Charlie Cowpar had 4 sons and 2 daughters. He was a Scotsman who was quite well known in the Wembley area. He worked as an accountant at Kranz Bros. store there.
Thanks.
Jenny

I think I know the other daughter. Her name was Caroline Bisson she married Narcisse supposed to be Noskey. But can't find out anything about him. I think he might be Narcisse Chastellaine the 3rd born July 28 1894. Not too sure about that though. They came to Horselake Ab reserve. With kids. And they changed their last name to Horseman. I know more if you can find out more about Narcisse Noskey-Horseman. There is stuff about a Galiboy an Indian agent in the 50s altered papers about Narcisse
