Dear Theresa, I believe Karl Schneider was a brother to my ggrandfather Bernard Schneider (Aug 13,1881 Russia). There were five brothers (Jacob,Bernard,Anton,Joseph andCarl). They all went to Garden city, Kansas U.S.A. together with their families when they left Russia.They stayed in Kansass for six years before coming to Friedenstal in 1914.Their father had passed away in Russia and their mother had remarried and had a daughter. I dont what their names were.Carl and Jacob went to the Okanagan area in 1925 and Joseph in 1926. The birthday that you have for your Carl is the same time period that our Carl would have been born.If you think they are the same person like I do please let me know. My grandfather was John Schneider and the John Schneider that is in your note were probley first cousins.
