Hello

there are over 4 pages of a family biography on William Crayford and his wife Nancy Sharp in the book "Prairie Grass to Mountain Pass". This book is not online but I have a copy. If you would like to give me your email address I will scan them and send them to you. As well, I believe that many of the families who are descended from the Crayfords are good friends of my parents. I will check with them if you want to make contact. I have photos of all the graves in Livingstone Cemetery and will attach two of them here for you.

Also, here is an obit for one their grandson's who died and is buried in Livingstone Cemetery

Mr. Richard Edward Ernest Lionel Crayford of Lundbreck, AB passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at the Crowsnest Pass Long Term Care Centre at the age of 80 years. Richard was born on May 3, 1922 in Lundbreck, AB to Lenora and Edward Crayford. Here he met a kind and loving woman Laura Anne Robertson and was united in marriage in 1953. Together they raised their loving family. Throughout Richard’s lifetime he was a member of the Oldman River Gun Club, the Lundbreck Fire Department for 24 years, the Lundbreck Community Hall Association and also the Maycroft Hall Association. Richard was a kind, loving and gentle man with a heart of pure gold. He loved and cherished his children and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a great outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and spend time shooting varmints. He also enjoyed horses, cows, branding, doing macramé, braiding, watching the rodeo, woodworking, fly tying, lure making and making donuts. Although Richard is now gone to his place of rest he will forever remain in our hearts. Left to mourn his passing and to celebrate his lifetime include his loving children, Thomas Crayford of Aldergrove, BC, Gary (Delphine) Crayford of Lundbreck, AB, Jim (Lisa) Crayford of Calgary, AB, Nancy (Bob) Sweet of Hinton, AB and Laurie (Joe) Lapka of Yellowknife, NWT; his grandchildren, Jason, Karen, Sherry, Shelly, Ryley, Marie, Michelle, Nichole, Allison, Heather, Caitlin and Jordan; his great-grandchildren, Justice, Joey and Rayanne; his sister, Charlotte (Wilfred) Hewitt of Swan Valley Lodge, Creston, BC; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Frances) Price, Din (Freda) Parry and Bessie Siegle; numerous nieces and nephews and his friends, Bob and Marge Hewitt. Richard was predeceased by his loving wife, Laura Anne in 1998; his mother, Lenora in 1926; his father, Edward in 1956; his brother, Bill (Helen); his infant sister at the age of 2 days; and his cousin, Violet Donohue in 2000. Funeral services were held at the Foothills United Church in Cowley, AB on Wednesday, April 16, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brent Woodard. Interment followed in the Livingstone Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Crayford, Marie Stuart-Crayford, Michelle Stuart-Crayford, Nichole Stuart-Crayford, Allison Crayford, Pat Dwyer, Jason Sweet, Verne Hewitt and Joe Lapka. Honorary Pallbearers were David Brockwell, Russell Hoffman, Jim Price, Bob Hewitt, Don Parry, Donald Hewitt, Louis Debroux, Leonard Dewart, Herb Dewart, Steve Sekella, Alf Thompson and Alec Yagos. Donations in memory of Richard will be gratefully accepted towards the Lundbreck Fire Department, Box 284, Lundbreck, AB T0K 1H0 or to the Crowsnest Pass Long Term Care Centre, Bag 1, Blairmore, AB, T0K 0E0. Fantin’s Funeral Chapel of Blairmore, AB entrusted with arrangements, 403-562-8555.

I believe that I am also a descendant of William and Nancy through their son Frederick, he was my great grandfather. I have only just opened up this part of my family tree so I don't have a lot of information just yet, but I am working on it :)
I see some if the posts are a few years old but thought I would reach out anyway :)
Sincerely
Carilyne
