Hi I'm looking for information about a Henry Wulff. I believe his sister is Eleanor Wulff she later became a Beaton and therefore his mother's name would have been Minnie. As I see a Eleanor Beaton buried with Minnie Wulff at Beachmount Cemetery

Hi, sorry didn't read this until now. I believe that Joseph was married to Sara Petit-Couteau and she was my dad Laurence Boudreau's aunt. My dad's mother was her sister and her name was Veronique Laboucane. Her mom was a Petit-Couteau.
As for the Deschenau's, Sara and Joseph had Henry, Wilfred, Lucy, Mary, and another son but I can't remember his name. There is a Deschenau that lives in Hinton with a lot of pictures of their family but I am truly sorry, I can't remember his name,,,,maybe Sonny.
I don't know anything about Pierre...Hope this helps.

My great grandfather was Pierre Descheneau of Duhamel (Camrose area) and I know he had a brother named Joseph as I used to have a picture of the brothers together. Does anyone have any further details on the Descheneau brothers are their families? I am working on my family tree and am having a very difficult time finding Pierre's parent's names.

Yes, indeed my post is in reference to the original post. I am descendant of Benjamin King KELLy and Anne DUNNINg (Dunn). My great grandmother was Nancy Anne (nee Kelly) one of their daughters.
I would be willing to share the information that I have been able to gather about the family.

Does anyone by chance happen to know how many of their children followed Benjamin and Anne KELLY to Alberta other than Nancy with her husband and children?

Searching for information about my grandmother Emma nee Guthrie who married David Logan then later on life married Thomas Appleby who they have a son together named Cecil. Emma was the only daughter of Nancy Anne Kelly and Richard Guthrie.
Richard too is buried in the New Norway cemetry.

I am not related to this family, but I am entering graves at findagrave.com for the Nelson Cemetery, in Nelson, Douglas County, Minnesota. The same county as Alexandria, where George Oscar Swaren was born.
I believe the graves I have just entered are for his grandparents,

Hi Stella, thanks for your help, I am doing this search for my cousin who is divorced from Edward Murray's son Anthony, she wants the information for her son but unfortunately she has no one to ask now but she seems to think that he returned to Canada, he would have been born arround 1923, all she has is his wedding cert to Dorothy which states his dad's name as John (postmaster) there is an index of Canadian postmasters on line with several Johns, but I have only done Ontario so far so goodness knows how many there are. I found an Edward Murray Kennedy born in Colorado but his dad was named Leon and he owned a printing business,I believe this is the Edward M in Arlington cemetery. Now know that Edward Murray Kennedy was the son of John Kennedy, postmaster. Edward married in England during WW2 and then returned to America without his wife who refused to leave, so it is possible that he remarried, any help will be gratefully received.

My grandmother, Annie Storms, also attended Camrose Normal School in the 1915-1918 time frame. She would have been about age 15-18 during those years. She died September 17, 1972, but wrote a book of her memoirs. If you have any information regarding a yearbook, class pictures, I would love to hear from you. It is my understanding from the inferences my grandmother made, this would have been an equivalent of a Junior College perhaps where she obtained her "Professional" or teaching credential. Do you have the names of the wife and children who came to Canada.
Knowing that might help others help you.
Just curious why the area Camrose Alberta was chosen - was there indication that family may have settled there ?
I checked you postings re John Hubert HALL - and there are only 2 - one for Camrose Alberta - the other for Ireland.
If an area is unknown in a particular Province - posting to the General Message board for the Province - might be helpful.
If the location in Canada is not known - there is a General Message Board that covers all Canada.

The family described in the other posts in mine.
The Ponoka Panorama gives the story of the Matejka boys coming to Alberta from Cz. They all went by Matejka. Unfortunately the families of the original 5 didn't stay in touch.

There are two immigration records for a Joseph Matejka at www.collections.gc.ca

I can check with my father to see if he recalls the name of Joesphs'wife.
My ancestory page has the parents of the 5 boys.

Would anybody subscribing to this list have the book "Harvest of Memories Camrose"?

I am trying to find out if there is anything on the Archibald McPhederan family in the book. The family members are Archibald McPhedran who married Harriet Elizabeth O'Neil. Children were Annie Kathleen, Janette, Laura Bell, George Campbell & Beatrice.

Archibald [1857-1942], Harriet [1868-1940] & John [1894-1974] McPhedran are buried in one of the Camrose Cemeteries but I am trying to find which one.

Any help that someone can provide is greatfully appreciated.

A feature STYLE section of the Edmonton Journal, Sat.. July 9, 2011. (author Marta Gold) tells of renewed business section of Camrose AB. As one who grew up on Sunny Boy Cereal and listener to the Farmer --- radio program produced and sponsored by Byers Flour Mills, I expected to read in the City history of the role Byers played in the development of Camrose.
