Boudreau Lafournaise Laboucane Petit-Couteau Descheneau
Again, I am appealing to anyone who might have information about my family. Dad's name was Laurence, his dad was Joseph, and his dad's dad was Francois. Francois homesteaded in Frog Lake Sask, and then moved to Alberta. He had a brother Pierre and I believe another one called George ?. Joseph was married to Veronique Labournaise (Laboucane) and they had three children. Any body out there????

Sorry, now that I google for your names, I see that you had a response in 2007 which mapped out some of your ancestors.

If you go to this link http://www.angelfire.com/ab/camrosecountychurch/duhamel/duha...You will find birth/death records pertaining to the children and relatives of Sara Petit-Couteau and Joe Descheneau. I'd said my great grandfather was a Pierre or Louis, but he was also a Joseph Descheneau. He and Isabelle Lafournaise were also burying children in the same Duhamel cemetary.

Re: Boudreau Lafournaise Laboucane Petit-Couteau Descheneau
Thank you so much for this information - I really appreciate it. So we could be long lost cousins. My grandparents were Joseph Boudreau-married to Veronique Lafournaise (Laboucane)-and the Petit-Couteau on my grandmother's side was that her mom was Emily Petit-Couteau. Thanks again.

Re: Boudreau Lafournaise Laboucane Petit-Couteau Descheneau
My great grandfather was Pierre Descheneau of Duhamel (Camrose area) and I know he had a brother named Joseph as I used to have a picture of the brothers together. Does anyone have any further details on the Descheneau brothers are their families? I am working on my family tree and am having a very difficult time finding Pierre's parent's names.

Re: Boudreau Lafournaise Laboucane Petit-Couteau Descheneau
Hi, sorry didn't read this until now. I believe that Joseph was married to Sara Petit-Couteau and she was my dad Laurence Boudreau's aunt. My dad's mother was her sister and her name was Veronique Laboucane. Her mom was a Petit-Couteau. As for the Deschenau's, Sara and Joseph had Henry, Wilfred, Lucy, Mary, and another son but I can't remember his name. There is a Deschenau that lives in Hinton with a lot of pictures of their family but I am truly sorry, I can't remember his name,,,,maybe Sonny. I don't know anything about Pierre...Hope this helps.
