Hi Stella, thanks for your reply. I've looked for an obituary, but nothing for that date. I was hoping to find something in a Calgary newspaper, but again the dates seem to be very sketchy, - or I'm not looking in the right place! No joy as far as family is concerned as all that generation died many years ago - my grandmother died before I was born! I only found his Will from the UK National Probate Office website, so it's a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack. And as I am in the UK & he died in Canada I'm a bit stuck, hence my request for help!!
