Hi, Brad,

Do you have dates or approximate dates for their deaths?

The Grande Priarie & District Branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society has had an obituary project for several years which includes the Peace area newspapers.

See their webpage (shown below) and you could also email them at: agsgp@canada.com

No, Brad, I have not heard that some of the Anglican church records were destroyed. You could find out if you phone or write to the Minister of the Anglican Church. Martha

Hi Brad; In Big Lakes County, in a book called Trails We Blazed Together, I found the the following write up.

James (Jim) Otway MORROW, the son of Richard Otway & Lily (Bradbury) MORROW have a story on page 1160, with pictures.
Jim who was born Dec. 1919 in Sedalia, Alberta. Theresa was born 27 May 1925 in Drummond, Quebec. The story was submitted by Jim's wife, Therese (Cormier) MORROW. They raised five children, Richard, Patricia, Daren, Douglas, & Brad.

Theresa writes that she and Jim were married 18 June 1947 in High Prairie and upon their return from their honeymoon they took over the family farm. Jim's father, Richard
MORROW passed away the previous fall and Jim's mother, Lily moved to Dawson Creek, BC. It doesn't mention when Lily died or where she is buried.

You can try searching through the Big Lakes County website for other links at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~abbiglak/biglakes.html
but I think you will get the information you want by calling the Anglican Church in High Prairie at 1 (780) 523-3996 or by writing to the Anglican Church, 4701 - 53 Ave, High
Prairie, AB. TOG 1EO Good luck, Martha

Hi Brad;
Noticed your queries regarding Richard & Lilly Morrow and remembered seeing this one while searching for Morrow obits. I am searching for Morrow family that came from around Coleraine, Co. Derry, Northern Ireland and first settled in Mille Isles, Argenteuil Co., Quebec some then went to around Bayfield, Huron Co. Ontario and then to Pilot Mound, Manitoba and then some went to Sask and Alberta. The Morrow name is linked to Pollock and Elder name frequently. Anything sound familiar?
