The finding aids and Masster Surname Index of the Alberta Genealogical Society shows;
Robert Wylie HIGHTON, 1887 - 25 Jul 1959 and
Mary Violet HIGHTON, 1893 - 28 Aug 1956 are both buried in plot 130E,9 of the Hillside cemetery at Medicine Hat

There are several other Highton's in this cemetery. But no James.

There are also several William HARTLEY's on the Master Surname Index and we find one with the date, 1881 - 1918 is listed in the Alberta Family Histories Society Index. You can find a link to the AFHS from the AGS Website.

Thank you, Peter. You have found some of the people I seek. I will email you off list. A relative of the HIGHTONs is my uncle, Cecil Wilfred McCunn LANGILLE. I am hoping to trace him thru those other families. Jack

My g great grandfather, David Francis McMillen Wylie came from Ireland and became a railroader. His son, my grandad, also worked in the railroad, first in Medicine Hat, then in Banff. He died in 2003. I wonder if Robbie, is my grandpa's cousin. I believe my grandad had two sisters.
