The family, Sephardic Jews (Spanish Jews) left Spaiin in 1492. Believed to have gone to Portugal (possibly converted to Catholic Faith for a short time), then possibly to Fez Morroco, then possibly to Amsterdam Holland, then possibly to Turkey (around 1626). Family settled in Tekirdag (Rodosto) and Corlu (Tchorlu). Also some lived in Galata around Istanbul.

If anyone from Turkey can help me find more about our history, I would greatly appreciate. Other family names are: Behar; Fins; Ashkenazi; Ereza; Uziel (Uzziel Ouziel).
