Hi, I read your information and I also have Khoury - Khoury in my family. I understand, that the reason for that is because they just to married closed cousins to keep the Khoury name within the family. My grand-parents were cousins and that is way, they signed Khoury and Khoury. They went to the Dominican Republic in 1909 and they die there. My g-grand-mother was also Khoury -Khoury and she was born in Nazareth but went to Lebanon to escape the persecusion from the Jews because she was Christian. She die at the age of 120 in the Dominican Republic. I hope that I was of some help. Rose
