hi i am desperately searching for relatives. my ancestors
came from Hasroun, Lebanon in 1914. my grandparents surnames
were John and Betros. any information would be appreciated.

Hello, I have been searching for my distant relatives for at
least 2 decades now. my father Yousef Betros came to America
in 1914 with his mother and 6 siblings. My garndmothers name
was Hanne John Betros she was married to Saliem Betros. We
believe according to church records that they came from Hasroun. I know when we had relatives in Lebanon because my
father used to write to them. I would be grateful for any
information.

My great-great grandmother came from Hasroun and her name was Luce Boutros she married a Peter Naim. Two of their children Wardeh Boutros Naim (my great grandmother) and Joseph Peter Naim came to Detroit in 1905.

Wardeh married Girgis Youssif Isshac (also from Hasroun). Once they settled in Detroit they went by the name George.
