Surnames: Jabour , Mowad, Basharrah
My husbands grandfather was from Seihel, Syria, his name was Anthony Jabour when he came to USA, his
wife was Mamie Basharrah and she came from MT Lebanonwhich was also refered to as Hadchit. If you have any information on this family I would be glad to hear from you. They came to the USA in 1900, and
brought with them their brothers Michael Basharrah and
Michael Jabour they settled in Detroit, Mi and then Anthony and moved to Amherstberg Ont in about 1918
or there abouts , both of them are buried there.
