By now it's perhaps a common story, but my father, Abdollah Kouloubandi, came to the US to study during the Shah's reign, only to go back after the revolution. I have had no contact with my father nor any members of his family. As such, I was wondering if anyone out there knows a kouloubandi or could tell me anything about the name?
