Hi, my name is the Low German/Dutch spelling of "Rabe" - my ancestors from Prussia changed the spelling to "Raabe" when they emigrated to Russian in the 1830's - the spelling stuck when the extended family moved to Canada in the 1920's and back to Germany in the 1980's.
