I am researching my Husbands family and have hit a brick wall. His gggrandfather came to the us in the early 1900's. His name was Dane Swetich and his wife was Rose. They had a son Mike born in UT in 1915. His mother (Rose) dies of TB when he was less than two. Mike lived in Ely NV all his life and worked for the Mine there as did most of the known family.

I am trying to locate the family's origons. Mike Swetich married Mara Gubric and had three sons and one daughter. The Gubrics are from Kajina/Luke Serbia, I was thinking the Swetich's might be from the same general area.

I have been told that Cvjeticanin is an old name origionating from and older family Bogunović that came from Montenegro.

Any help would be much appriciated. I am having a hard time finding any info at all on this line.
