I am looking for info on my ancestors on my fathers side. My great grandfather was Michael Wolkotiuk and was born in Wolyn, Ukraine in 1890. From what I can find, I think the Wolyn area is what is now Volynska. My grandfather immigrated around 1907. His father was Kindrat Wolkotiuk and his mother was Fewrong. I dont have a birth date for Kindrat or a last name for Fewrong. I dont have any type of town name. Wanted to know if anyone could point me in the right direction of where I could start looking for info. Any libraries or town halls in the Volynska area that I might be able to get in contact with.
