My father Marion (Mike) was born in Karkow August 1897, his parents were Josef Czerneski born in 1871 (states Austria)died in Saskatchewan about 1940, and Anna Podhorodedse born in 1875 (not sure where) died in 1957 in Saskatchewan. this is where I was able to trace records, both the Czerneski and Podhorodedse seem to end here. It is sad, as I was able to trace my mother's family to the 1300's
