Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
I would contact you because I am looking for information about members of my family: Vera Illarionov and her sister Maria Illarionov , and their parents Count Nicholas Illarionov and Countess Natalia Peresviat-Soltan.
These are the items I have so far:
-Vera and Maria are the daughters of Count Nicholas Illarionov and Countess Natalia Peresviat-Soltan.
-They were born in the late nineteenth century in Kharkov.
-Maria has studied in Paris, where she met Jean Navello (from Nice), with whom she had a daughter: Evlania. Evlania was born in Kharkov 12 February 1915.
-Evlania is my grandmother. She later called Jeanne.
-They have all of two, with the small Evlania, abruptly left Kharkov and arrived in Nice.
-Vera married Count Anatole Alec Buxhoeveden in Nice in 1932 and then went to live in New York. They divorced in 1956. She should be part of the Russian Nobility Association in America (which she organized the annual ball in May 1941 in New York).
-Maria has lived with my grandmother and my grandfather between Nice and the Alpes de Haute-Provence.
Unfortunately I have no further information of dates, places.
I have no information on the Count Illarionov and his wife Countess Peresviat-Soltan.
Who were they? Where did they live? Did they die when their daughter had to leave Kharkov? Under what conditions the girls have left Kharkov?
I have no information either about the life of Vera in New York.
I sincerely hope you can give me some information or some more resources to try to trace the lives of these two women and their parents.
Thank you very much,
Sincerely,
Lucia Machemin
