My name is Vlad Iorsh, I was born in NYC in 1977.
I am looking to trace my family back as far as possible.
I am looking for either BERKUN (mothers maiden name) or
IORSH (fathers last name). I am also looking to see if i have relatives i didnt know about!
My mother was born and lived in Kharkov.
My father lived in Kiev.
From when i grew up they said they were Jewish, but non-practicing.
MY MOTHERS SIDE:
My grandmothers name is Alexandra Berkun.
My grandfathers name was Ilya Berkun (R.I.P)
MY FATHERS SIDE?
My father came back from the military when he was young only
to find both parents deceased.
The only thing i know was his mothers name was VICTORIA.
I dont know where IORSH came from.
