After and on again off again search I finally found my family in Ukraine. I've just spent a month visiting my father's 11 cousins who still live in and around the family village.

I had help from a fellow who teaches at a university in Ivano-Frankivsk. After I locted the village, he drove there and found the family, interviewed them, etc. He's assisted several other people from North America in this way.
