Do you have his church baptismal record? That record should have parents place of birth.

Joseph G & Elizabeth W Klimowicz, who arrived in US in 1912.
Do you have their arrival manifest? There should be a place of birth or last residence.

You found the family on 1930 and now 1940 census?

Forgive my ignorence but this is the first time I've heard that a passenger was provided a booklet.
