Can someone please help me with the correct spelling and origin of what now appears to be an Americanized phonetic spelling: KAMSACURDI.

This is my great-grandmother's maiden name. It's been said that she was born in St. Petersburg, Russia; yet others say this sounds more similar with a Ukrainian name.
